Oswestry Riding Club is a FUN group for people, both riders and non-riders, who are interested in all aspects of horses and riding.
The club is open to anyone aged 16 and over (members between 16–18 must be accompanied by an adult).
As an unaffiliated club there is no pressure to compete at a top level and no demands to improve unless you want to. We have lots of beginner/novice riders and some who have lost confidence along the way. We love to encourage members to come along and just enjoy the partnership with their horse, building up confidence in a relaxed atmosphere.
Members meet at clinics, competitions, hacks in neighbouring schools and countryside and organised talks and at demonstrations by horse professionals.
Members regularly meet for social and riding events at a variety of local venues with excellent facilities. ORC membership is £25 per annum, representing excellent value for money.
